This 9x12 Swedish style kilim is an exciting new addition to the award-winning Scandinavian flat weave collection by Rug
Kilim. Handwoven in wool and undyed, natural yarns, its design reflects a contemporary take on mid-century Rollakans and Swedish Deco style.
On the Design:
This rug enjoys geometric patterns in forgiving taupe and beige-brown, with notes of ice blue, silver and white cool tones. Keen eyes will admire undyed, natural yarns interwoven for a look of striae and subtle color variation. This proprietary technique of ours both innovates and honors mid-century weaving techniques inherent to Scandinavian style.
This modern flat weave further enjoys our reputed, heavier body with buckle resistance and greater durability against foot traffic. It’s a comfortable, sophisticated contribution to the Swedish minimalist aesthetic—modern yet comfortable with vast design applications today.
