This 8x10 flat weave is a new addition to the award-winning Scandinavian Kilim collection by Rug
Kilim. Handwoven in wool, its design is a contemporary approach to midcentury Rollakans and the iconic Swedish Deco style.
On the Design:
This rug enjoys a mesmeric sense of movement with finely detailed geometric patterns in beige, white and brown. Keen eyes will admire undyed, natural yarns interwoven for a look of striae and subtle color variation. This proprietary technique of ours both innovates and honors midcentury weaving techniques inherent to Scandinavian style.
This modern flat weave further enjoys our reputed, heavier body with buckle resistance and greater durability against foot traffic. A comfortable, sophisticated contribution to the Swedish rug aesthetic.
