Handwoven in fine wool, a 6x9 flatweave from our Scandinavian Nu collection connoting Swedish sensibilities with a neat open field and impressionistic geometric pattern sitting comfortably in gorgeous symmetry flourishing in blue and green gradiance.
On the design:
Our “Nu” flat weave enjoys a boucle-like texture of blended yarns, and a look both impressionistic and comfortable. Keen eyes will admire the cool look of striae and subtle color variation, and the sense of movement they create. This Kilim exemplifies that principle with subtle impressionistic geometric patterns on an open field of sage and seafoam green, and borders of similar tones and sky blue hues. Our modern flat weave further enjoys our reputed, heavier body with buckle resistance and greater durability against foot traffic. A comfortable, sophisticated contribution to the Swedish Deco aesthetic that both innovates and honors mid-century Scandinavian rugs.
