Kilim. Hand-knotted in wool, cotton and natural yarns, its design is inspired by Swedish Deco style rya rugs with a modern contribution to the aesthetic.
On the Design:
This rug enjoys a high-and-low texture in blue and beige stripes, with subtle neutrals and cool accents within. Keen eyes will admire this blend of yarns and the subtle color-within-color variation it achieves. This proprietary technique of ours nods to mid-century weaving techniques of the movement while lending a modern twist to other simple, clean geometry. The result is a sophisticated, yet comfortable high-end approach to an iconic mid-century modern look for luxury interiors today.
