This 6x9 flatweave belongs to both our Nu and Natural lines of the collection—a play of handwoven wool and natural yarns in a high-and-low play of flatweave and boucle-like texture that’s a whole new way to look at the style.
On the design:
Our “Nu” flat weave enjoys a boucle-like texture of blended yarns, and a look both impressionistic and comfortable. This particular Kilim enjoys geometric patterns in off-white and gray tones, underscored by beige-brown hues inherent from the blend of organic, eco-friendly sustainable fibers in our Natural line inherent to its construction. Both the subtle, textural beauties and warm, impressionistic look made by this play of constructions bring a new element to Swedish Modernism—a warm, very beachy and soothing, sophisticated look to the mid-century modern style.
Our modern flat weave further enjoys our reputed, heavier body with buckle resistance and greater durability against foot traffic. A comfortable, sophisticated contribution to the Swedish Deco aesthetic that both innovates and honors mid-century Scandinavian rugs.
