Made with handwoven wool, this 9x12 contemporary rug is an exciting new addition to Rug
Kilim’s Scandinavian “Nu” rug collection—a contemporary reimagining of Swedish minimalism and vintage rugs and textiles of Rollakan and Rya traditions.
On the design:
Our “Nu” flat weave enjoys a boucle-like texture of blended yarns, and a look both impressionistic and comfortable. This design enjoys chic geometric patterns in slate-gray, beige-brown and navy blue tones, wherein keen eyes will admire the warm look lent by the blend of natural yarns interwoven for a look of striae and subtle color variation. This proprietary technique of ours both innovates and honors mid-century weaving techniques inherent to Scandinavian style. This modern flat weave further enjoys our reputed, heavier body with buckle resistance and greater durability against foot traffic. A comfortable, sophisticated contribution to the Swedish Deco aesthetic.
