Handwoven in wool with a blend of undyed natural yarns, this modern flat-weave joins the latest additions to the Scandinavian collection by Rug
Kilim, a celebration of Swedish modernism with new large scale geometry and exciting vintage colorways like that of their midcentury inspirations. The subtlety and blend of the transitional color variation in this piece, a crisp silver-gray colorway with notes of beige and off-white hues, connote the aforementioned yarn blend in the geometric pattern, both paying homage to the Scandinavian tradition of interweaving excess yarn as well as lending a sense of movement and character through arresting variation. The weight and durable body of this piece is exceptionally resistant to buckling or shifting underfoot, having become a hallmark of our Scandinavian flat-weave sub collection in both this gift-size rug and larger area rug sizes. Originating from one of our most reputed long-standing partner looms in India.
