This 9x13 contemporary rug is an exciting new addition to Rug
Kilim’s Scandinavian rug collection—handwoven in a new flat weave construction using a blend of wool and exotic yarns–the soft new texture inspired by alpaca.
On the Design:
This particular rug enjoys triangular geometric patterns in tones of sage green, ice blue, beige and cream. Keen eyes for detail will note how the triangular motifs are thoughtfully arranged to suggest continuous movement, while maintaining visual clarity through precise spacing. Admirers of the craft and keen eyes will further appreciate this as an especially soft new flatweave, with a particularly smooth texture inherent to the exotic yarns—drawing on the look and feel of Alpaca rugs, as nuanced and alluring to the touch as the warm, creamy colors are to the eye.
