Kilim’s Scandinavian rug collection—a contemporary reimagining of Swedish minimalism and vintage rugs and textiles of Rollakan and Rya traditions.
On the Design:
This design enjoys warm coral orange, pink and cream tones, where rectangular blocks create a sophisticated patchwork effect. The artful arrangement of varying sizes and shades brings to mind the layered hues of a desert sunset, yet maintains modernist restraint. The palette's subtle variations—from soft terracotta to pale ivory—create depth through tonal layering rather than bold contrast. Admirers of the craft will note this proprietary technique of ours that both innovates and honors mid-century weaving techniques inherent to Scandinavian style.
