Handwoven in distinguished natural wool with a unique blend of exotic yarns, this modern rug hails from the latest flat weave additions to Rug
Kilim’s Scandinavian Kilim Collection, a celebration of Swedish modernism with new large-scale geometry and exciting vintage colorways like that of their mid-century inspirations. A variation on our team’s Marta Stripe design—an homage to Scandinavian trail which won the Carpet Design Award for Best Traditional Design in 2016—this 3’1 x 6’ flat-weave runner recaptures an iconic aesthetic with bold, chic geometry and a new achievement in intricate colorway variations through our aforementioned blend of yarns. The stylistic accents of beige and orange to the gold-yellow, black, and beige geometric stripes complements a sense of movement as well as the muted texture of this piece, further enjoying the durable body we’ve achieved in our Kilim rug line more resistant to buckling and shifting.
