About the Item

Vintage Swedish Rölakan flat-weave rug, handwoven in wool, measuring 142 x 194 cm. This mid-century Scandinavian textile features a central light green field, bordered by a cream band with repeating geometric floral motifs in pink, purple, blue, and green. The outer border is dark green, and the rug is finished with fringe on both ends. Crafted using traditional Scandinavian weaving techniques, this piece reflects the folk art heritage of Sweden and is characteristic of mid-20th century Nordic design. Suitable for use as a floor covering, wall hanging, or decorative textile Genuine vintage Scandinavian Kilim rug. It has a stylized floral design with an empty center, suitable for placing under a coffee table. The color palette comprises gentle shades of teal, green, pink, and blue.
