About the Item

Antique Turkmen Bukhara Rug with Tekke Göl Pattern – Exceptional Tribal Weaving An exquisite antique Turkmen Bukhara rug, featuring the classic Tekke göl motif repeated in a harmonious all-over layout. This tribal masterpiece is a fine example of Central Asian weaving, known for its rich red ground, precise geometric repetition, and intricately layered borders that create a striking sense of balance and rhythm. Woven entirely by hand using high-quality wool and natural dyes, the rug reflects the nomadic heritage of the Tekke tribe, a prominent Turkmen group. The detailed borders—with alternating bands of diamonds, stars, and stylized ram’s horn motifs—frame the composition elegantly and reinforce the craftsmanship's tribal roots. This piece is in a very good condition for its age and size, retaining strong color saturation and structure. A true collector’s item and a beautiful addition to traditional or eclectic interiors.
