This large vintage Turkish Kilim rug (10’10” x 14’9” / 330 x 450 cm) showcases the timeless artistry of nomadic weavers from mid-20th century Anatolia. Composed of handwoven flat-weave panels in a striking striped pattern, the rug combines light brown, dark brown, ivory, gray, black, khaki, and mustard tones in a bold yet minimalist aesthetic. Originally woven for everyday use, these utilitarian textiles are now celebrated for their modern appeal and adaptability in contemporary design.
Each panel was carefully sourced during our extensive travels across Turkey, selecting only sturdy and beautifully aged examples. In our workshop, we hand-stitch these authentic vintage Kilims into larger, room-sized compositions, giving them new life while preserving their cultural heritage. The result is a versatile floor covering—equally at home in modern, minimalist, bohemian, or eclectic interiors.
