This western Anatolian workshop carpet has an old ivory field with a multi-pendanted oval medallion. The medallion in wheat and yellow brown has a cloud band pattern. The light coral corners are decorated in a Heriz manner and the overall drawing is angular and bold. The teal green boarder has a classical pattern of golden rod cartouches and beige octofoils a. This circa 1900 carpet has an wool foundation and is relatively loosely woven.
