Its rich, warm walnut-brown field, composed of hand-spun mohair from native Angora goats, exudes a rich, organic luster—like the glow of late sun across mountain soil. The pile’s soft shimmer responds to light with quiet grace, grounding the piece in both simplicity and sensuality.
At the heart of the angora kilim rug floats a serrated beige medallion, bracketed by alternating bars of light and dark—a motif reminiscent of woven talismans or stylized nomadic vessels. Its stepped finials suggest thresholds or gateways, a visual language used by Anatolian weavers for generations to symbolize protection, transition, and inner focus.
