Hand knotted in Turkey originating between 1960-1970, this vintage midcentury wool rug is the latest to join our midcentury Pasha collection, celebrating Turkish icon and multidisciplinary designer Zeki Müren with our team’s hand picked favorites from this period. Enjoying mild, natural wear consistent with the age of this distressed rug, the subtle intricacy of the colorway in the geometric striped pattern has a more arresting sense of depth and dimensionality than items of this richness and repetition enjoy. Namely, the running alternations of beige-brown, red, and black enjoy a sense of movement both soothing and alluring, complemented by the distressed look for a sense of shabby-chic, rustic charm idyllic of Müren’s exceptionally joyful, warm style.
