Hand-knotted in wool, a scintillating vintage 7x10 mid-century modern rug from Rug Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha collection—featuring notable works of the iconic Turkish designer Zeki Muren. Originating from Turkey circa 1960-1970, this distressed rug enjoys post-war art deco sensibilities, coming together to form a geometric pattern in bright hues of orange, yellow and blue punctuated by white for a delicate balance. Further to its rare collectibility is the signature in the lower and upper corners, connoting both Müren and a collaborator among its distinguished features—as uncommon as it is decoratively unique. An expressive piece existing in good condition and full pile, rare to this shabby-chic lineage.
