About the Item
An authentic flat-weave (Kilim) from Eastern Turkey, handwoven by Nomads to be used as floor coverings in their tents and winter homes. This kilim features a simple design of stripes in refreshing colors and a lovely grainy texture and can easily blend in with several interior styles.
Today kilims of this kind are very popular in interior design world for their contemporary designs and affordable prices. We have travelled extensively across Turkey in the last 20 years and carefully picked these sturdy and beautiful Kilims, pile rugs and other authentic handmade works of textile, tribal and Folk Art which are getting harder to find especially in good condition.
We also hand-stitch these old flat-woven Kilim rugs together in our workshop to create room size and custom size floor coverings that are practical, very decorative and suitable for both contemporary residential and commercial interiors. Measures: 2.3 x 12.2 ft.
