About the Item
This vintage hand knotted Turkish accent rug boasts a large elliptical medallion at its centre in ivory, pale yellow, light olive green, soft orange and salmon pink. It is decorated with stylized florals against a deep, ruby red field that features in place of corner pieces bouquets of flowers on gently swirling bow ends. The main border in soft light olive green is filled with dainty carnation motifs and leafy vines and sets a lovely contrast against the deep red of the field. Measures: 4.3x6.6 Ft.
This vintage accent rug is hand knotted with sheep's wool on cotton foundation, has medium wool pile, is in good condition and sturdy. It could be accompaniment to classical, boho-chic and eclectic interiors.
