4x7 Ft Mid Century Handmade Turkish Village Wool Rug in Faded Coral and Gold

This vintage Central Anatolian area rug has two linked geometric medallions in deep-saturated gold that are decorated with abstract stars against a plain field in vivid raspberry red. The corner-pieces in dark indigo feature a dense pattern of red abstract floral heads in latticed form. The main border in gold is filled with simply drawn floral heads and leafy vines in pink, pale red, light blue, ivory and yellow. Measures: 4.2x8.6 Ft. The rug is hand knotted with natural sheep's wool, has soft medium pile, in good condition and sturdy.
