A one-of-a-kind early 20th century, Tulu, (thick-pile) rug from central Turkey with a niched design of linked and colorful lozenges 100% wool.
These rare small rugs were made for daily use by nomads and villagers in Konya region of Central Anatolia until the 190s. Today they are considered collectible as well as highly decorative as each one is one-of-a-kind and representative of a diminishing form of textile and tribal art. Measures: 5 x 6.3 ft.
