A finely hand-knotted vintage Turkish carpet from 1960s featuring a floral medallion design ivory, mint green and celadon green against a vivid red field. Corner pieces in lavender finished with scrolling leaves in bright emerald green and the main border in cerulean blue decorated with floral heads in green and red add to the profusion of beautiful, bold colors that define this rug .
The rug is made of medium wool pile on wool foundation. It is heavy and lays flat on the floor, in very good condition with no issues. It has been washed professionally, is sturdy and can be used in both residential and commercial interiors.
