Antique 19th Century Fine Turkish Yuruk Long Runner Rug 7ft 4in x 3ft 6in
224cm. x 107cm.
Classic for this type with various polychrome hooked panels around three bold multicoloured hooked double medallions. In hooked flowerhead and hooked bar border between hooked vine and barber-pole stripe.
The rug has a full pile, soft wool quality. Ends with embroidered kilim and fringes. Selvages original. An attractive example. In very good condition commensurate with age.
