Hand knotted in Turkey originating between 1870-1880, this antique Oushak rug enjoys a subtle, luminous sheen to its quality wool body, accenting the rich autumnal gold, beige and burgundy colorways further complementing the very soothing transitional geometric-floral motifs in the field corners and wrapping border alike. The natural iridescence further complements the tasteful Abrash of the field and the overall excellent condition seen in this piece, hosting a very mild, natural-looking minimal wear consistent with age.
