Hand knotted Oushak rug, woven in western Anatolia circa 1930.
This antique Oushak displays a beautifully time softened palette of beige, sand and muted rose, creating a tranquil and harmonious appearance. The design features a subtle allover pattern of stylized floral motifs framed by wide borders with softly faded botanical elements, characteristic of the refined and spacious compositions found in early 20th century Oushak weaving.
Crafted from wool on a wool foundation, the rug has a gentle sheen and a supple texture that reveal its high quality materials and careful craftsmanship. The natural patina and delicate color transitions give it a warm and inviting charm.
Size: 11' × 10'2" (335 cm × 310 cm), a generous square format ideal for open interiors and elegant spaces.
