Lavishly detailed and harmoniously composed, the rug stands as a testament to the sophisticated artistry perfected in the renowned imperial workshops that once supplied the Ottoman palaces.
The rich crimson field is densely adorned with an all-over palmette and arabesque botanical pattern, executed with extraordinary precision and rhythm. Large-scale symmetrical floral forms are interlaced with swirling vine-scrolls and stylized acanthus leaves, creating a sense of luxurious movement and grandeur.
