73610, distressed antique Turkish Oushak rug with Modern Mediterranean and Italian Tuscan style. ??Emanating timeless elegance and warm, earthy colors, this hand knotted wool distressed antique Turkish Oushak rug beautifully embody a modern Mediterranean style with Italian Tuscan vibes. The weathered field features a gorgeous tree of life design spread across a golden saffron field. The tree of life motif is one of the most widespread motifs in oriental rugs and is seen to represent the connecting link between heaven and earth. In this particular antique Oushak rug, the tree motif fills the center of the field, while small floral blooms sprout from the edges towards the center. Small boteh in a range of colors densely fill the stepped corner spandrels. Flanked by Classic almond blossom guard borders, the main border features a large-scale abstract floral Meander design. With its gorgeous color palette based around gold, teal, and wine combined with soft neutrals, this antique Turkish Oushak rug would be a charming and stylish addition to any interior, while its angora wool is wonderfully soft and luxurious underfoot. Rendered in muted hues and variegated shades of gold, saffron, ocher, mustard, cerulean, teal, sand, beige, brown, rust, wine, burgundy, taupe, tan, and ecru with other accent colors.
