This beautiful antique Turkish Oushak runner from the early 20th Century bears four diamond-shaped medallions with decorative floral motifs. A small border with repeating floral designs, rendered in gold, red, blue, pink, and ebony for the stems, surrounds the rug. The field background is a deep red, covered by the design in gold, light camel, orange-yellow, a slight cream with a soft blue overtone, and ebony for small details.

This colorful Oushak carpet rests beautifully upon a field of elegant red. A large medallion of brown, taupe, yellow and gray takes center stage and is well balanced by four prominent organic corner motifs composed of various muted taupe and light blue colors. A fairly broad border of cast brown gently surrounds the center field. Natural elements of stems, vines and flowers weave throughout the entire carpet, complemented by the design accents of a delicate gold color.
