Antique Turkmen Yamoud Carpet with Kepse Gul
Turkmen Carpets have always been a sought after decorating items. They are suitable as a library rug or a dining room rug, as they are all over design. This Yamoud Turkmen with its all over Kepse Gul on a rich red background and a vine and curl leaf border on a cream background would be an ideal candidate for most rooms. It has a date written in three places at one end. The date translates to 1899.
