The central ground is composed in a deep, muted plum-purple tone, against which riders on horseback, mythical beasts, deer, leopards, and birds are dynamically rendered in motion. These hunting figures are masterfully intertwined with lush floral vines, stylized leaves, and blossoms. The composition teems with life, capturing a sense of movement and layered storytelling that evokes the grandeur of imperial courtly pursuits.
The rug’s intricate polychrome palette includes shades of beige, rose pink, madder red, soft yellow, olive brown, and ivory, offering a harmonious and painterly balance.
