Vintage collection. Originating from Turkey circa 1890-1900, this late-19th-century rug witnesses a medley of medallion and geometric patterns on a delicious beige brown scale for a boho chic vibe. The design manifests on the weave with striking tribal motifs that celebrate the values and beliefs of the era the rug belongs to. Connoisseurs mat note the era and design reflect a kindred design spirit to Azerbaijani pieces of the same period—not to mention similar motifs to that of Soumak dragon rugs, most widely visible in the field corners among the splendid variety of patterns here.
