About the Item
Made to compete with Persian Herizes, this Anatolian large room size carpet show a Turkey red field centred on a roughly octogrammoidal cream medallion, with convex teal corners, two suspended mosque lamp pendants and a supporting school of mobile surrounding palmettes. Cream border with cloud band amphora irises at the corners and stiff vines connecting palmettes in between. Coarse weave, very good looking and in good condition.
