Late 19th Century Silk Feshane Quran-Qab Design Rug

Established in 1841 during the reign of Sultan Abdülmecid, the Feshane Factory initially produced textile products before transitioning to rug manufacturing in 1847 to meet the high demand for rugs in Istanbul.
