About the Item
This usefully narrow kenare (runner) shows a pattern of four four hooked cartouches, all with centipede centres, on a royal blue ground. Panels of two double E’s connect the cartouches into a pole. Ecru main border of chains of small, nested diamonds. Good condition. Moderate weave. Another case of successful cultural assimilation.
