About the Item
A vintage Turkish flat-woven Kilim rug handmade during the mid-20th century. 3 offset sections with variating colors in persimmon, orange, coral, and dark blue are attached together to create this flat-weave rug. The stripes of each section never connect completely to its adjacent section creating an abstract pattern. This is due to the nature of tribal and village weaving where small looms, such as a loom with a maximum 2-foot width, are used to create one section of a rug and then the sections are conjoined. Need a smaller width? Simply remove one section.
Measures: 5' 7" x 9' 11".
