Handmade with flat-woven wool circa 1950-1960, this vintage midcentury Turkish kilim rug was created in the Bessarabian style, with this design rooted European, particularly Romanian, inspirations. Centered on a black background the vintage rug’s focal point is a group of five floral arrangements that appear in the piece’s center on a red background. A single pink flower with green leaves is encircled by a round garland of flowers in pink, purple, orange and yellow that are connected by green leaves.
