About the Item
The carpet is beautifully drawn with an all over 'mille fleur' design on a indigo blue background. The flowers are in a range of soft pastel colours giving the carpet a lighter feel. The detailed border on a red ground complements the carpet very well.
The carpet has a wool pile on wool foundation and is in excellent condition with very slight wear and good pile. The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. This is a good furnishing quality large room size carpet, suitable for heavy use.
