Old Turkish Hereke carpet, wool pile on a wool foundation.
The carpet is beautifully drawn with a all over small boteh design on a indigo blue background. The boteh are in a range of soft pastel colours giving the carpet a lighter feel.
The detailed border on a red ground complements the carpet very well.
The carpet is in excellent condition with very slight even wear and good pile.
The carpet has been hand washed and is ready for use or display. This is a good furnishing quality small room size carpet.
