Displaying balanced symmetry and bold geometric shapes, this pair of hand-knotted wool vintage Turkish Oushak runners beautifully embody Art Deco style. Each Oushak runner features a double vertical column of four hexagonal cartouche medallions floating in a dark crimson sea of abrash waves. The Oushak runners are framed with a latch-hook vitruvian scroll border flanked with an inner floral meander guard band. Highlighting rectilinear architectural elements and large-scale designs, this vintage Oushak runner is an amalgam of tribal influence and goes beyond the boundaries of everyday design to evoke feelings of otherworldly stories and symbolism. Perfect for a hallway, corridor, kitchen, long foyer, entryway, stair landing, home office, private library, nook, parlor, small sitting area, vestibule, or it would make a lovely accent in a living room, bedroom, dining room, front room, great room, state room, family room, studio, study, loft, and lounge.
