A stunning late 19th century Turkish Mihrab rug, woven circa 1870s–1880s, measuring approximately 59 inches by 51 inches (4 ft 11 in x 4 ft 3 in). This exceptional and highly collectible piece features the iconic Mihrab (prayer niche) design, symbolizing faith, balance, and artistic refinement in traditional Anatolian weaving. The rug’s deep crimson red field is beautifully complemented by vibrant blue, golden, and ivory accents, all achieved through natural vegetable dyes that have aged gracefully to a soft, harmonious patina.
