About the Item
Sampler of Turkish rug for collection, named "vaghireh".
Not every oriental weaver has a drawing on paper millimeter, as done in an important workshop, but he used a small carpet as a sample with various drawings handed down by his ancestors.
It's very rare for him to separate from it, that he passed to his son.
Every carpet has its own history and tradition, its pattern and its colors.
This onehas three models od medallion and two of borders.
My whole collection is of 11 little items, plus another large Konya.
