Nowadays contemporary beautiful rugs are considered to be one of the most diverse types of geometric pattern rugs available and not without a reason. They continue to charm us with opulence and boldness, but this particular piece manages to do so with its effortless elegance. It was able to achieve this level of chic thanks to the balance between its design and palette. The pattern consists of horizontal lines running through the field, but among them a keen eye can spot something else – second part of this composition. It was achieved thanks to the differences in the height of the pile. Crisscrossed lines contrast with the rest of the design, but do not seem overbearing in any way. The color palette of this piece was created of two hues, creamy white and dark gray, which help to balance out this design.
