This bold wool kilim is a handwoven masterpiece woven in Moldova circa 1900. The design features a medallion woven on a deep blue-green background in accents of beige, olive green and cream that make up the luxurious patterns. This is then framed by an elegant repeating border with floral foliate scrolling patterns. Woven with only the finest materials, including hand-spun wool and cotton. This rug is in excellent condition, ready for use in any home.
The colours have retained their vibrancy, despite their age. The quality wools found in traditional oriental rugs make them durable and sure to last.
