About the Item
This tapestry woven flatweave has reduced the palette to ecru, darkest brown and deep red, and the design to an open field with an alternation of stars and X-centred octagons. Main border of chains of ecru diamonds and an inner triangle reciprocal in ecru and dark red. The inner border breaks up into separate triangles at the field ends. Moderate village weave. Good condition.
