This unusual rustic runner (kenare) shows four cartouches on the straw-sand ground, with reversing stylized eagles (or vultures?), in multiple brown shades. The birds are drawn in a Byzantine or Seljuk manner. Totally geometric squared meander border. Broad striped plainweave end finishes. Moderate weave on wool. Everyone needs a vulture rug! Rug Size 3'6x13
