Exceptional Gabbehs like this are known for thick, lush pile, rich colors and bold patterns. This particular design enjoys an animal pictorial pattern with an emphasis on rich beige atop lush red with subtle blue-black detailing. Keen eyes will note an archaic lion depiction, and admire its almost quirky nomadic details.
