Hand knotted in Turkey originating between 1960-1970, this vintage midcentury wool rug joins our Mid-Century Pasha collection celebrating Turkish icon Zeki Müren with hand picked favorites from the period. Among the most unique, distinct pieces of Müren’s in his tradition of atypical, lively colorway, the bold black and red hues pay homage to Asian Art Deco inspirations, complemented with a shabby-chic aesthetic via the very natural, mild distress consistent with the age of this piece seen in the low wool pile; a very natural feature playing off the stand-alone beauty of this abstract piece.
