This vintage 25"x124" Persian kilim is a unique tribal rug for its period and provenance. Handwoven in wool, it’s believed to be of Shahsavan provenance and originates circa 1950-1960.
Further on the Design:
The field hosts horizontal stripes alternating in red, brown, blue, black
white variations. Connoisseurs will note the rarity of such exuberant colorways in this provenance, and let alone in such good condition today. This is a graphic, yet livable piece with vast applications and rare features alike.
