About the Item

Here a three by three pattern of striped sections in cream and brown works a basket weave design with horizontal and vertical panels. The sections are possibly not from the same mother piece, and the stripes cannot be aligned rationally. The panels are also not the same size. The eccentricity makes it more interesting than a more staid and regularized design. Wool surface wefts. Bitonal browns and cream. As new condition. Rug Size 15'2x16'4
