Tulus are some of the most sought-after high-pile and shag rugs, often mentioned in the same breath as Greek Flokati and Moroccan rugs for their own unique take on a lush, comfortable look and feel. This exceptional vintage Tulu rug exhibits the quintessential geometric pattern, with each elements meticulously formed to create a rhythmic field that maintains remarkable consistency across the design.The palette demonstrates a sophisticated chromatic relationship, employing only two primary hues on the field—a rich red and black—to create a visual tension that activates the entire surface.
